Though my experience with San Diego Free Press closing wasn’t nearly as dramatic as Ryan Bradford’s escape from the corporate pinheads at City Beat, I can relate to his jonesing about being cut off from putting together words and --hopefully--wisdom.

AwkwardSD is about Ryan Bradford getting back in the game. It’s one of those Substack-type newsletters popular with deep thinkers as of late. You can read it for free, or send him some $$$ and get extra-specialness in your email box.

You should do this because the guy can write. I don’t remember ever meeting him, but then again there are a lot of things I don’t remember these days.
