Thank you for this. Thank you very much.

This is the third time I have begun responding to your always worthy message, being a live in caretaker to my husband of 63 years.

John and his wife and daughter lived in our backyard in Evanston (Chicago immediate) back in the 80s. Former owners of our ‘20s corner lots home sold off the back lot and John built a lovely home. He was a disgruntled professional, having basically created the Weather channel, and it was stolen from him. All his ideas, plans, implementation. Of course he was a meteorologist, not a weather boy. He worked then for I think the Chicago NBC affiliate, his professional manner nothing like the elder age gambit at KUSI.

Saw him in 2002 at Adams Ave street fair. His “new” wife tried to keep us and anyone away, but he remembered my husband. He thought I was a trophy wife, as I was pushing our two-year old grandson in a stroller. Ha. Flattering? Well, he had lost a very agile and active mind. John Coleman was much better than KUSI, and I am interested to hear it is being recast. You always find the best stuff to report.

I have to read you to keep up to date with Times of San Diego. I vehemently unsubscribed to it about a year-and-a-half ago. I found that they were allowing blatant racist remarks by a small cadre of neo-Nazi bigots pretty much on a daily basis. When I emailed Chris Jennewein, the Editor, he had the nerve to thank me for letting him know. He said some algorithm that he used allowed the racist remarks and must not be functioning properly. I suggested he try reading the shite he was publishing daily, and then I unsubscribed.

It's been long apparent to me that the anti-abortion movement is fundamentally a war against poor women. Women of at least modest financial means and with a degree of agency will always be able to obtain a medically safe abortion, legal or illegal, in their home jurisdiction or in another. The genie will not go back in the bottle.
