Sen. Elizabeth Warren Gives a Master Class on Trolling
Bumbling smear artists Jack Burkman and Jacob Wohl were at it again.
An announcement for a press conference in Burkman’s Arlington driveway promised to reveal the shocking truth about Presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren.
The advance notice said: "Jack Burkman and Jacob Wohl will be joined by a decorated, former U.S. Marine and bodybuilder who alleges he was involved in a long-term sexual relationship with presidential candidate, Sen. Elizabeth Warren."
This latest plea for attention comes just days after the duo followed up on offering a $50,000 reward for the real identity of the whistleblower who raised concerns about President Trump's infamous call with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky. That press conference, where nobody was named due to “security considerations” had more hecklers than media in attendance.
Wohl has a history of peddling fake news stories, including an attempt to bring false sexual assault allegations against Special Counsel Robert Mueller, an attempt to frame presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg for sexual assault, and a claim that presidential candidate Kamala Harris was not a U.S. citizen. Others targeted by Wohl include Congresswoman ilhan Omar, the Southern Poverty Law Center, Media Matters for America, and Right Wing Watch.
Here’s some more about his illustrious career as a professional liar, via Wikipedia:
From 2016, Wohl became a prominent online supporter of U.S. President Donald Trump. Trump posed for a photo op with Wohl and has retweeted him. Wohl's defunct news blog, "The Washington Reporter", was found to have entirely plagiarized its Code of Ethics from that of the journalism non-profit ProPublica. NBC News reported that Wohl has "adopted and amplified nearly every prominent conspiracy theory to arise" in 2017, including unfounded claims against Hillary Clinton, George Soros, and the U.S. Special Counsel Robert Mueller. He was hired by the far-right outlet The Gateway Pundit in 2018, before being fired later that year as a result of his failed plot against Mueller.
Felony arrest warrants have been issued via the Riverside County District Attorney's Office for Wohl and his former business partner, Matthew Johnson, on charges of unlawful sale of securities. The National Futures Association declared a lifetime ban against Wohl, charging him with defrauding investors.
So there you have it. This guy is obviously a candidate for Young Republican of the Year.
Getting back to today’s press conference, the fake news mongers brought out somebody who claimed to be an ex-Marine. Over hecklers and a boombox blasting, he tried to read a statement saying that Warren had hired him for rough sex.
A scar on his back, purported to be from a vicious Elizabeth Warren, was quickly revealed as a fake when a posting from InstaGram was discovered of the patsy telling the world the cut was from a chain while trying to take down a swing set.
This afternoon the Warren campaign struck back.
