Your memories of this industrious, thoughtful, brilliant woman bring her to life for me. What a mom! What a human! What a love! I too read science fiction as a kid. Think I was 13-14 when Arthur C. Clark shook my world, shifted my paradigm with CHILDHOOD’S END. If anyone belongs in a new beginning, it is your mother Mary.
